Your membership helps support ongoing programming at the Library.

 

Simply choose the membership level that’s right for you, then submit your tax-deductible contribution via credit card, PayPal or by downloading our membership form.

If so, consider making a one-time or a recurring monthly donation that will help us fund Children’s programs, speakers, book discussions, Museum Passes and many of the other services that helps make our library great!

Memorial  Gifts

Has someone special in your life benefited from the programs provided by the Joshua Hyde Public Library or do they have an interest in the literacy and joys of our local area? If so, honor them with a gift in their name to help the library continue its vital mission in our community. Please note the name of the person who the gift is in honor of or  in memory of.

What the Friends Do

​

  • Organize the running of the book sales.

  • Operate ongoing lobby book sale

  • Provide the library with funds to purchase equipment and promotional items.

  • Fund programs for all ages.

  • Sort donated books and media

  • Represent the library at community events.

  • Help the library promote literacy in our community.

  • Assist with needs, not in the library's operating budget

  • Provide programs of community interest

The Friends of the Joshua Hyde Public Library host four book sales a year.  If you are interested in volunteering to work at the sale or other opportunities, please contact the Friends at info@sturbridgelibraryfriends.org

The Friends are a 501(c)(3) organization.  We are library supporters who are committed to strengthening the library and helping it provide the best service possible to the community.  We are also some really fun people!
